This creates an urgent need for high-quality power distribution equipment and electrical components. Limited by the underdeveloped local high-end electrical supply chain, Chinese products, with their complete industrial chain, advanced technology, and high cost-effectiveness, have become its preferred choice. After a Chilean electrical equipment integrator specializing in new energy projects conducted an on-site inspection of our company, the local national power company undertook secondary verification, leading to a finalized cooperation agreement. Based on the client's requirements for adaptability to high altitudes and extreme temperature differences, we optimized the product structure and protective performance, ensuring stable operation in high-altitude environments while controlling procurement costs for the client, resulting in significant cooperation success.

Chile, a leading new energy economy in South America, has been vigorously advancing its "National Energy Transition Strategy," focusing on the development of renewable energy such as solar and wind power, as well as the construction of smart grids. This has created an urgent demand for high-quality power distribution equipment and electrical components. However, Chile's local high-end electrical supply chain is underdeveloped, lacking the capacity to meet the technical and scale requirements of large-scale renewable energy projects. In contrast, China's electrical industry boasts a complete industrial chain, advanced R&D capabilities, and cost-competitive advantages, making Chinese solutions the preferred choice for Chilean energy companies and utilities.

 

Against this backdrop, a renowned Chilean electrical equipment integrator specializing in renewable energy projects initiated contact with our company. After in-depth technical communication and preliminary product testing, the customer's professional team conducted an on-site audit at our headquarters, inspecting production lines, quality control systems, and R&D laboratories. Impressed by our product reliability and engineering strength, the customer invited Chile's national power utility to conduct a second due-diligence visit. Following rigorous technical verification and standard alignment checks, both parties formally launched a multi-product cooperation project.

 

During the project execution phase, the Chilean integrator provided detailed specifications based on local grid standards and environmental characteristics—particularly emphasizing adaptability to high altitudes (up to 3,000 meters) and extreme temperature differences (ranging from -10°C to 45°C). Our engineering department promptly adjusted the product design: optimizing the circuit breaker's arc-extinguishing system to adapt to thin air at high altitudes, enhancing the energy meter's waterproof and dustproof rating to IP67, and improving the transformer's thermal conductivity to withstand sudden temperature changes. These customizations not only ensured stable operation in harsh natural conditions but also simplified on-site installation, reducing the customer's labor costs by 15%.

 

The final supply scope included molded case circuit breakers, precision energy meters, current transformers, and high-voltage fuses—all compliant with Chile's NCh electrical standards and ISO quality certifications. As a professional supplier with rich experience in overseas renewable energy projects, we completed the delivery of 520,000 units between 2023 and 2024, covering multiple solar and wind power projects in northern and central Chile.

 

This cooperation fully demonstrates the competitiveness of Chinese electrical products in adapting to complex environmental conditions and meeting customized needs. It also strengthens our position in the South American new energy market, laying a solid foundation for further cooperation with countries in the Andean region that share similar energy transition goals. We will continue to leverage our technical advantages to support global renewable energy development and smart grid upgrading.
