Syria Power Grid Recovery Project – Three-Phase Energy Meter Supply for Infrastructure Rebuilding
In recent years, Syria has experienced steady growth in infrastructure reconstruction, power system rehabilitation, and hybrid solar energy projects, leading to rising demand for three-phase energy meters and reliable metering solutions. Through technical discussions and sample testing with a local power distribution company, our cooperation advanced into mass production and bulk supply. Our engineering team customized and optimized the meters to match Syria’s specific grid conditions, ensuring high measurement accuracy, durability, and long service life. By improving structural design and component selection, we reduced overall system costs while maintaining stable, long-term delivery for ongoing power restoration and renewable energy integration projects.
In recent years, Syria has continued to advance the reconstruction of its infrastructure and the modernization of its power distribution system. As the country experiences rapid growth in solar-hybrid installations and grid rehabilitation projects, the demand for accurate metering equipment has increased significantly. Against this backdrop, one of Syria’s regional distribution companies began to source metering products from overseas to improve energy billing accuracy and reduce technical losses. After an initial phase of technical discussions and compliance checks, the customer selected our three phase energy meter solution. During the qualification stage, the customer conducted sample testing under multiple grid conditions, including voltage fluctuation and long-term continuous loading. This technical adaptation enhanced safety and reliability while maintaining competitive cost structures.
Upon approval, the project entered mass production and shipment. The total transaction volume reached 120,000 units of three phase energy meter, with deliveries completed over 2021–2022. The metering equipment was primarily deployed in urban and semi-urban regions for commercial power users, solar-hybrid installations, and small industrial facilities requiring both energy billing and consumption monitoring.
Through this cooperation, the Syrian customer benefited from an integrated sourcing channel that combined metering equipment with broader low-voltage product options supported by a molded case circuit breaker factory ecosystem in China. Our company demonstrated advantages in supply chain integration, international logistics coordination, and after-sales technical support, contributing to the customer’s ability to execute distribution and renewable power projects efficiently.
